Color y Esperanza, a wonderful solidarity initiative.

For Terra Colombia, after 13 years of existence in a country undergoing significant transformation, which we introduce to travelers from around the world, the desire to contribute on our scale to the development of this beautiful territory became evident. This motivated us to establish a partnership with a local project full of hope, the Color y Esperanza association. Indeed, who better than children to be agents of change within a country?

Founded in 2009 by Nellysabeth Murillo Raminez, a lawyer by profession, the Color y Esperanza foundation aims to promote the education of underprivileged children and adolescents in the Choco region.

It’s this beautiful local solidarity project that the Terra Colombia team has chosen to support this year. For each traveler exploring Colombia with us, the agency donates 10 USD to the Color y Esperanza foundation.

The foundation’s goals :

• Education: Facilitate access to education for children aged from 5 to 14 in the Choco region and ensure their attendance through the implementation of educational programs. By providing access to technological tools, among other things, the foundation aims to give children the opportunity to access a better future.
• Sexual education: Provide children with tools to become aware of their bodies and teach them to respect their physical integrity so that they can make responsible decisions regarding sexuality.
• Culture and identity: Use art, recreation, and sports as keys to transformation to give children tools to channel and express their emotions, develop healthy habits, and reaffirm their culture and identity.

Solidarity Christmas

Every year, Color y Esperanza organizes a Christmas gift collection for the children of the foundation. Terra Colombia joins this project and invites you to do the same! If you travel with us, we encourage you to bring a small gift from your country for children aged 3 to 9. You can leave it with your driver upon arrival, and we will take care of connecting it with the foundation.
