Passionate about Latin America, I have decided to settle in Colombia 4 years ago, charmed by the dynamism of Medellin, the warmth of Colombians and the cheerfulness of daily life.
WOW ! What most impresses me about Colombia?
The Colombian lifestyle, the climate (pleasant all year round), the natural and cultural diversity of the country and of course, the Latin music that can be heard on every street corner!
Born of a Colombian father and a French mother, I have always known Colombian culture. Since I was little, I repeatedly expressed my desire to experience life in Colombia as a real local. Thus, it is in this splendid city of Medellin that I chose to settle.
My tip as a local
From Cali, you take the road for the restaurant El Portal de Pance (30 min from the center of Cali), you will be able to savour the best “sancocho de gallina” then you can enjoy a swim in the restaurant’s swimming pool or the river. Of course, there is a dance floor in order to dance salsa caleña.
My personal favorite
Santa Rosa de Cabal. It is a small village located in the Coffee region not far from Pereira. There you can take a walk to discover the culture of the city and the local handcrafts, then to finish the day you can enjoy the thermal baths and the great waterfall of Santa Helena.
A meal I like
My favorite meal will always be the sudado (family recipe).

The mindset of the Colombians and their attitude towards life: their peacefulness and the warm welcome they offer.
Obviously the landscapes of Colombia are a wonder too!
Introduction
Originally from the south of France, I fell in love with Colombia after studying there for a year. I’m back to share my passion for this country with travelers from the beautiful city of Medellín!
Local Tip
Spend a few days on Isla Grande, near Cartagena de Indias, to go diving and explore its stunning underwater world.
Favorite Spot
The region of Santa Marta and the Sierra Nevada—for breathtaking hikes and stunning views of the Sierra Nevada from one of Minca’s beautiful hotels. And don’t forget to try the famous arroz con coco, a Caribbean specialty!

I am from the Coffee region, which makes me the “Cafetera” of the gang. I love the sea and the sun, and my family is very important to me. I am a very cheerful person and I help my dear colleagues navigate the administrative complexities of my dear Colombia!

Visit the tiny villages in the Coffee region: Salento, Filandia, Pijao. They are full of History, colors and magic.

I can’t choose between Providencia the idyllic Caribbean island and Caños Cristales, the famous multicolored river!

My favorite meal is the Ajiaco, a soup typical of the Andes.
