Our tours are designed for everyone, including children, whatever your level of expectation. Please note that we only organize « individual » tours, i.e. without joining a group that has already been formed. We do not offer tours with fixed departure dates. Contrary to popular belief, Colombia is a well-developed tourist destination, with services and prices to match. The country is very pleasant and easy to discover, with no particular constraints, offering a wide variety of landscapes and activities, as well as quality services (hotels, guides, transport). Some activities (diving, water sports, climbs, etc.), and even some stages, require a particular physical aptitude or adaptability (due to climate, altitude, road conditions, etc.).

The travel consultant who answers your inquiry is based at our offices in Pereira. Trilingual (French/English/Spanish), with perfect knowledge of the terrain, and a specialist in the destinations we offer, he can be contacted by email, telephone or Skype from Monday to Friday; he will be your main point of contact throughout the planning of your trip, as well as during the trip itself.

On our websites, you’ll find examples of tours (varying in length, stages and activities) to discover the country. We’ve created them on the basis of our customers’ favorite programs, to give you an idea of possible itineraries (among many others!). At the same time, you’ll find pages dedicated to each region of Colombia, as well as thematic tours and information on possible local activities. We suggest you put together your own trip using these elements on the one hand, and with the help of our team on the other, so that together we can design the trip that’s right for you.

Our site is first and foremost a « showcase » of possible types of trips and stays, each of which is then customized according to criteria specific to each request: period and duration of the trip, number of participants, category of hotels, services (guides, transport), addition or deletion of stages or activities… All these elements imply a tailor-made quotation, on a case-by-case basis.

So it’s important to give us as much detail as possible when you request a quote, so that we can send you a detailed proposal with a price tag that’s as appropriate as possible for your needs. To give you an idea, consider a two-week discovery tour of Colombia, in low season, for two people, in standard accommodation, with a French-speaking guide at each stopover, including entrance fees to sites, without international or domestic flights, at 1,800 euros per person.

We are not able to book your long-haul international flights from Europe, North America, Asia or Africa, but we can take care of booking domestic flights, as well as cross-border flights in the case of combined trips with Terra Group destinations.

Once a program has been drawn up and agreed upon (itinerary, services and prices), reservations with the various tourist service providers can only be made once a deposit has been received. It’s best to book as early as possible, so that we have time to work under good conditions and obtain availability. There’s no precise registration date, but the sooner you register, the better the chances of obtaining availability on the desired dates, especially for the hotels you’ve chosen. In addition, this will give you a number of advantages: often more attractive rates early reservations with our suppliers (hotels, transport, guides, planes…etc.) more flexibility to modify or add an activity. In any case, if you only have a very short time to organize your vacation, our advisors will do their best to offer you quality services in line with your travel plans. Your trip is confirmed on receipt of a deposit. Payment is made by bank transfer to our business account, with full details sent to you on confirmation of your trip.

Once your trip has been confirmed, the travel consultant will keep you informed of the progress of your reservations and will be available to answer any questions you may have about preparing your trip. Once you’re on site, we’ll give you an emergency telephone number where you can reach a member of our team (in French) 24/7 should you need assistance.

A Terra Colombia representative (Spanish- or French-speaking) will meet you at the airport with a TERRA COLOMBIA sign and your last name, accompany you to your hotel and hand over all your travel documents.
